Lincoln
The iconic Lincoln Memorial at sunset.
I have been to a lot of big cities in my short life, but none have stuck with me like D.C. did, Boston being a close second, and Los Angles falling in third. It amazed me that every turn you took was an iconic monument, museum, government building, or famous location so essential to our countries persona. It truly is the capital and holds out countries history. The fact that you can go look at the founding documents, explore some of the most impressive museums in the world, and then walk through the national mall makes it so special. I loved everything about the city, and really is the shinning symbol of what this country is.
